Wooo! where do I start we arrived on the 22nd of aug and hit our first day on the river on the 23rd. the first though days were just playing around on the Canadian waves and getting the feel for everything. then on those few days we found out the weekend before we leave was the canadian cup and the top paddlers from all over the north america and and some from different parts of the world!
this gave me a bit of a mission to train for the canadian cup, I strarted to focus on some parasitic moves and putting some runs together on garbarator. We paddled the may waves that ran on this water level Baby face, Corner wave, Push button and Garborator all of theses waves allowed you to go big on both hole moves and wave moves.
Before you know it, it was the 3rd of september time of the Canada Cup we woke up and it was a glorious day emily wall only decided the night beofre to enter the Event. the juniors went first in 3 heats, I was in te Last heat and it was 3-45second runs 2 counted I put a simple run together and it work I cam 4th and the top 5 went to the finals, the finals kicked of at 2.30pm ish and the the juniors kicked of all knowing that we held back in the prelims just to get us in the finals. then we all released some top moves all ofus had one throw away run for me that was my first and my second run i scored 350 which put me in 3rd. the next junior boy up next was Cooper and he got a good run and scored the same as me I had 1 run left to nail it and wooo! i did getting a scored 495 with air blunts both ways, panam right, air screw right and helix right the saved me my 3rd place with Dane Jackson and Kalob Grady having the 1st and 2nd spot!
